Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the QR Menio platform you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We reserve the right to change these terms with prior notice to registered users by email.

2. The Service

QR Menio provides a tool for creating and managing a digital QR menu for hospitality venues. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. Planned maintenance is announced in advance whenever possible.

3. Account & Security

You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details and for keeping your account password safe. QR Menio is not liable for damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account caused by your own negligence (e.g. sharing your password). Contact us immediately at support@qrmenio.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Content You Submit

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you enter into your menu – dish names, descriptions, prices, ingredients and allergen information. QR Menio does not verify, edit or guarantee the accuracy of submitted content. See our Disclaimer for more on menu and allergen accuracy. You must not submit content that infringes third-party rights or applicable law.

5. Guest Data Processing (Data Processing Agreement)

When you use features where your guests leave personal data – such as online reservations or the guest book – you are the controller of that data and QR Menio is the processor that handles it on your behalf. This section and the next form a data processing agreement within the meaning of Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the corresponding provisions of the data protection law that applies to you. We process guest data only to provide the features you have switched on (receiving and confirming bookings, sending guests notifications, showing them in your dashboard) and according to your instructions given through the service settings; we do not use it for any other purpose and we do not sell it. We engage sub-processors for hosting and database (servers in the European Union), email delivery and technical error monitoring; we provide the list on request. By accepting these terms you authorise them; we will tell you about a replaced or added sub-processor by updating this page and by email, and you may object by no longer using those features.

6. Processing Obligations

We ensure that people with access to the data are bound by confidentiality, and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections, per-venue access control (each venue sees only its own data) and restricted administrative access. We will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a security breach affecting your guests’ data. We will help you answer guests’ requests to access, correct or delete their data and, on request, make available the information you need to demonstrate compliance. Guest data is deleted automatically when the periods in our Privacy Policy expire (bookings 12 months after the booking date) and at the latest 30 days after your account is permanently deleted. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the processing, for informing your guests about it (e.g. by referring them to our Privacy Policy) and for not asking guests for data you do not need.

7. Payment & Subscription

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan chosen). Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our authorized reseller (Merchant of Record) – Paddle appears as the seller on your statement, calculates and collects applicable taxes, and processes all payments on our behalf. Prices are shown in your selected currency at checkout and may include tax based on your location.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings – access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period, after which the account reverts to the Free plan. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

9. Limitation of Liability

QR Menio is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost revenue, arising from use or inability to use the service. Total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the preceding 30 days. See our Disclaimer for details.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
